'A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk.'

'Never done a glamping pod before, saw it on line looked good so booked, when we arrived first thing we saw through the gates was how well looked after the grounds were. The pod itself was really clean and had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, would definitely come back. '

'The lodge was in such a great location. It was such a good size with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing and the garden so relaxing. We only stayed two nights and were out a lot of the time so I feel we didn’t get the full benefit of the lodge and area. I hope to return for longer at some point in 2026'
