My big issue is the house does not feel safe as it sways in the wind. You lay in bed or sit on the couch and you feel tremors like there is an earthquake. My grandkids and daughter in law were very concerned. I am told other reviews commented on this too. I should have taken this more seriously. I am thinking of reporting this to the building inspector as the wind was not very high and in a big storm this could be a disaster. There were a number of other big issues besides this one. Ants all over, no beach toys or chairs, and overall condition of house was not updated. In addition, the pool did not get cleaned per policy. House was functional and close to beach. But pictures of dinning table total misrepresent the table. It is shown covered with a table cloth not revealing it was two mismatched tables of different heights. trying to get everyone around the table with chairs as had two sets of table legs in middle. We have rented 10 homes from RI to SC over the last 5 years and for the money we paid this was the worst home. Please pass this on the owner as it feels like this is pure investment property and no real updating particularly to the exterior has been done. We were extremely disappointed and did not receive the value for what we paid. I received 20 texts pre checkin beginning a week to 10 days ahead. They came from different #’s. I sent text with review to two separate #’s the day after & have not heard back. I would not rent this property!

The Looney Bin

Great ammitites in the kitchen, well stocked with pots, pans,slow cookers, etc. We liked that there were 2 sets of washer and dryers. 2 refrigerators in the house, although they were not convenient being on the top floor and bottom floor. Cabana bar/refrigerator is old and outdated. All & all we had a great time!

We loved the pool and the closeness to the beach. The home was a little dirty though. Found sand in the dresser drawers, found a pill in another drawer, there was candy left over from previous stays, and a dirty sock in someone’s bed.

Excellent House & Location

Property was well maintained and stocked with essential items for the kitchen. The location was great, at the beach in seconds. the patio and pool area were very nice and the ocean facing decks were a great touch. We've been coming to Sandbridge for the past 5 years and this is probably the nicest house and location we've had. Our extended family and friends had an amazing week and would highly recommend this property.

Nice place for a large family vacation or get together, yes I would recommend this place

Pool area needs painting a few glitches nothing that we could work with, it was a little windy so you can feel the bed and the house shake a little overall it a very fun house for young people and adult.

Nice for extended family!

We had a large extended family with lots of couples, and all older teens and adults. Having so many bedrooms and extra sitting spaces was great. Also the huge kitchen with two dishwashers, multiples of basics, and an extra fridge in the first floor is fantastic. The pool was very nice to have. Our only complaints are the bedrooms with the bunk beds. The beds are great because they aren’t the cheap metal ones, but there is no air flow in those rooms. The other is that the listing says there are 3 king beds, but there are only two. One bedroom had two twins that aren’t in the listing.

Spacious home near the ocean.

The house was clean, well equipped with furniture and kitchen items. The pool was well maintained and inviting but the pool house was dirty and ugly. The ocean access was relatively close and allowed for a ramp. On the other side, while the pool was lovely, the surrounding fence was dangerous with exposed nails sticking out in several locations, a hazard for our young children. The walk to the third floor was daunting, very narrow and steep and one of the reasons I wouldn't rent this house again. The layout of the house was odd and disjointed but there were many bedrooms. There was a damaged window on the second floor in the family room and a large hole in the wall in the third floor family room. Management was very responsive and arrived with a new battery for a smoke detector within 30 minutes.

Terrific vacation spot

This was perfect for our extended family, ages 18 months to 71! Great selection of beds and bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, everything you could need in the kitchen, etc. It was a nice touch to have the crib and a closet full of toys! The beach was a short walk across the very quiet road that was also an excellent running/biking location in the early morning. It was great to have the pool as an option to the beach on those 103 degrees "feels like" temperatures. We would definitely return.

Problems at the Looney Bin

We arrived to dead bugs on the floors, a sandy pool, a tack under the covers of one of the beds and an extremely moldy smell on the second floor. After we were all there for a day most of us were experiencing headaches and coughing. There were tall weeds all around the pool and no hammock or horseshoe pit as advertised. The only positive is that beach pros realty did respond and tried to fix some things such as the pool and the weeds.

Great vacation home

We were very pleased with the property. The layout worked well for our 3 families. Plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with the type of cookware, utensils, dinnerware etc that you need for the week. We would not have needed to bring any of our own. The views were. Beautiful snd while the house was not on the beach, the way the deck was situated beteeen the 2 oceanfront houses we had an oceanfront view. Pool area was great. The yard could have used some TLC We would definitely rent again

Short get away

It was a very nice, clean, and open home. Plenty of room for our two families...each kid had their own room! Loved having two different seating/hang out area so the adults and kids could have their own spaces. Even though the weather wasn't great the first few days, there was still enough to do. And so easy to get to the beach - just cross the road and you're there! One suggestion would be to fix the upturned corner of the rug in the living area near the kitchen - caused many trips. Overall, a wonderful stay!

Family Memories

The house was great. We enjoyed the view of the Beach from the balcony everyday. Waking up to the sunrise and shutting down for the evening to some beautiful sunsets. I will recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful and safe community to enjoy some family time while making memories.

Perfect for big families.

The weekend weather wasn't as nice as we hoped it to be, but the house was big and roomy enough for our entire family to live and relax comfortably without all of us being on top of each other. Great location, right next to the beach access. Couldn't have asked for a better home for the situation.
