'I love the location and historic charm of the of the hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant on site is a great place to eat. There is a per day”resort fee” that is charged to stay there however this is not a resort. There is also a reduced per day parking fee that is charged to the hotel guests.'

'The overall stay was acceptable however there was an issue with one of their security guards. I will spare you the details, but it was very unprofessional. Beds, towels, and bathroom were all clean, but the bedroom carpet was filthy and I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. The nightstand was sticky, and there were a pair of somebody’s eyeglasses on the floor between the right side of the nightstand and the wall. 'It was a little strange having to go through metal detectors and eye scanners every time you re-entered the resort. The lady on reception was not very friendly and was super slow also, however Christina in the bar was fantastic and very entertaining….thats the only reason i would revisit. I was sure when i booked that breakfast was included but there was only a pay coffee bar. Trying to find q parking spot could be tricky….i would suggest the hotel give valet park to guest for the whole stay...

'WE USUALLY STAY AT THE HAMPTON AT BROOKHAVEN BUT THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE THIS TIME SO WE CHOSE HOMEWOOD SUITES WHICH WAS FANTASTIK. VERY CLEAN AND NEW OR AT LEAST LOOKS NEW . WELL MAINTAINED. VERY HAPPY THAT WE WENT THERE AND WILL USE THEM THE NEXT TIME WE ARE IN TOWN . VERY HAPPY WITH THEM ALL THE WAYAROUND. BREAKFAST WAS WONDERFUL ALL THAT YOU COULD ASK FOR.'

'I’ve stayed here several times. Definitely my go-to for lodging in central Long Island. Love the kitchenette in the rooms and well stocked. Front desk staff is very helpful. Easy free parking.'

'The check-in was very slow. When I arrived, there were two people doing that job. Then one left after he finished with the people he was helping. This left just one person who had some difficulties with the couple he was checking in. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes to check in and there was a couple behind me who waited even longer. My WiFi didn't work. Fortunately, the two young men at the desk were able to do something involving a hot spot and got it to function. There was a false fire...

'Fantastisch grote kamer met compleet ingerichte keuken, zelfs met vaatwasser! Zeer vriendelijke dames bij de receptie. Goede ligging tov de Hamptons, New York en JFK. Goed ontbijt en voldoende eetgelegenheden in de nabijheid van het hotel.'

'Never accept room 107. The one wall is the kitchen/bar. The door is outside the bar area so you hear everything from staff and people at bar. The supply room and janitor closet are right outside the room door. So loud all night long was the absolute worst.'
