'I love the location and historic charm of the of the hotel. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The restaurant on site is a great place to eat. There is a per day”resort fee” that is charged to stay there however this is not a resort. There is also a reduced per day parking fee that is charged to the hotel guests.'

Beds, towels, and bathroom were all clean, but the bedroom carpet was filthy and I could tell that it had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while. 'Everything was as aspected!'

'The room was ready, clean and comfortable. Rather large. Air conditioning in room did not seem to work. Got s little warm overnight. Elevators had outages which led to some small waits. Casino was fun. All employees (check in, cleaning staff, casino staff and bistro) were friendly and helpful.'

'WE USUALLY STAY AT THE HAMPTON AT BROOKHAVEN BUT THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE THIS TIME SO WE CHOSE HOMEWOOD SUITES WHICH WAS FANTASTIK. VERY CLEAN AND NEW OR AT LEAST LOOKS NEW . WELL MAINTAINED. 'The check-in was very slow. When I arrived, there were two people doing that job. Then one left after he finished with the people he was helping. This left just one person who had some difficulties with the couple he was checking in. I waited approximately 10-15 minutes to check in and there was a couple behind me who waited even longer. My WiFi didn't work. Fortunately, the two young men at the desk were able to do something involving a hot spot and got it to function. There was a false fire...
