'This is an excellent location for Haleakalā sunrise and also the back road to Hana. I highly recommend leaving early and doing the back road to Hana, it was amazing to have the road basically to yourself until you reach PipiWai Trail. As for the property, it is beautiful and clean and the views are lovely. Delightful hosts. But honestly the setup is a bit odd-you can really hear every little thing the hosts are doing in the kitchen, so it isn’t truly private. Just a flimsy plastic door separates...

'We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The junior suite was spacious, clean and provided a view on the ocean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and cool boxes are available to take to the beach. There is also a jacuzzi and small pool. Overall, a great stay in a quiet area of Maui.'

'Overall we had a wonderful stay as we visited on a family vacation with our 3 children. Staff were very friendly, pool was great, beautiful location! I will say though that the beds were horribly uncomfortable. My husband had to quite literally sleep on the couch cushions placed on the ground as the bed was extremely hard, shook constantly due to any movement. We walked to the beach to watch the sunset and the sea turtles lounging in the sand was pretty cool.
