Nice view but lacking comfort and service
Place is just beautifull but the price doesn't match at all with the experience. We booked a room with garden view. Cost around USD800 without breakfast. There was no AC in the room. It was really too hot for us to stay there so we went to the reception. They acknowledged the problem and gave us an option to upgrade for USD400 incl taxes. We did it cause there was no way we could stay in that room. We got a ocean view bungalow. View was great but for a USD1.200 a night ocean bungalow you expect much more. When we pened a drawer of the bathroom the whole front of the sinkfelt down ( a wooden plate of around 4 mters wide).Fortunately it didn't fall on anybody's feet. Rooms are outdated and some parts don't look very clean as they are very old. Also the employees told us many people complained about missing AC's in garden view rooms. Gym was very basic. Breakfast was ok but we needed to wait for 1 hour to get breakfast. Very slow service. We know that Hana is less city-like and more rural but if you pay such high amounts for a room you expect at least some service back. For us once and not again. Without the view we would have rated the hotel a 5. Becaue of the view it's a 7
