'Maggie greeted us and checked us in. She was amazing! So helpful and informative. Remembered our names the who way through our stay which made us feel so welcome. The hotel was gorgeous! All areas were incredible. Our room was beautiful and the sea view was glorious. Food in the restaurant was great, including breakfast. Wish we could have stayed longer! 100% recommend.'

'Das Meeresrauschen war vom Zimmer aus zu hören und das gesamte Haus hat einen tollen Charme. Die schönste und besonderste Unterkunft unserer Cornwall Reise. Man fühlt sich wie daheim und es ist alles sauber gewesen. Es wurde erst vor kurzem renoviert. Man teilt sich die Küche bzw das ganze Haus mit Shelley und ihrem süßen Hund. Parken ging ohne Probleme vor der Tür. Das Community Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen: Müsli, Scones, frische Croissants, Obst, … Im Bad bräuchte es...

'My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. I recommend a visit to the stunning Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre built into the cliffs with views across the ocean, as well as the nearby town of Helston. Thank you, Charles!'

'Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. '

"We had a very nice stay in 'Poppy'. Very friendly hosts, clean, cosy apartment, with beautiful surroundings: the village of Cadgwith is beautiful, and so are the walks you can make directly from the doorstep. Would reccommend it to anyone."
