We truly appreciated how much thought went into the room— especially the granola from their restaurant and the bag of ice in the freezer, even the glassware options were great to have. They seem to have thought of everything. We loved enjoying the fire pit before bed. We would definitely stay at the Alander again! »

« It is an Artist’s Retreat. It is very quirky, but once you get used to it, it was great. Dog friendly, brought my boxer, large back space to walk them in. Right on river, absolutely peaceful.My only thing is none of the rooms have two beds, and I was traveling with my brother. Not sleep in’ in a bed with him (sorry not sorry) Host moved us to a different space that had a queen bed and a door that could be closed and two futons that were not private, but that wasn’t a big deal.
