Woonboten in Southside

'I booked a non smoking room with amenities of a refrigerator and microwave and ac. The room had three cockroaches in it and the ac was not on when I opened the door. There was no refrigerator. It was over 90 degrees inside. I turned on the ac but still had to get a fan to get the temperature down. It took 2 hours for the room to cool to under 80 degrees. It was miserable. The room had an ashtray and burn marks on the bedding, furniture and even the bathtub. The bedding was dirty and the pillows...

'Great staff upon arrival very friendly and quick check in. Breakfast was great and check out was fast as well. '

'Checked in. We noticed roaches and had to leave around 11pm. There was an infestation. Contacted Expedia have yet to get my refund back. Office staff “Veronica” said we couldn’t get refund thru them. Expedia struggles to get in contact with front office to confirm situation.'

'It could have been better.. they only had one elevator and the pool was dirty'

'The bathroom tub was disgusting and there was no shower curtain, the faucet was barely holding on, the A/C doesn’t work. No fridge, no microwave, sheets were dirty. The staff was non responsive and there was a long wait time. I was somehow able to block all that out and sleep only by the grace of god. Don’t come here, you’re better off sleeping in your car. Big waste.'

'Place was OK for price we payed,could use some up - grade'

'The host was very welcoming. The facility was okay, very decorative; however there are so many decorative things, that there is no room to put your necessities with an a reach. The same problem in the bathroom, no space by the sink. We were expecting a fully equipped kitchen, as my husband likes to cook. We had to go out to eat daily. The dishes in the pantry were dirty, had to clean the coffee pot because it was dirty. Same thing with the utensils. Very importantly, older and disabled persons...

'House was right where we wanted to be. Owner was easily available and got back to me right away. It was a pleasant stay. '
