'I have stayed here several times, and my biggest complaint is with the dining options. While there are 5 restaurants, only 2 seem to be open at any given time and the food is just average at these spots. This forces you to go into El Cajon or even San Diego for a decent meal, which is problematic if you don't have a car. Breakfast and burgers are actually better at the golf course and you can get the hotel to take you down and pick you up. The rooms are clean, but housekeeping services are...

'We had an outstanding stay at Viejas Casino and Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was exceptional—every staff member said hello and was friendly, and attentive. They really made us feel welcome! The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The food was great with really large portions. The 9:00 fireworks display was a highlight! We had such a great time We will absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!'

'We had a room on the 8th floor which was spacious and clean. We did have some airco noise and weird knocking noise from the elevator shaft (we think) which was annoying at night. Pool was nice and location was good for watersports and running. Restaurant has great staff but menu is limited. The gym was crowded in the morning but really quiet in afternoon.'
