'We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.'

'Love the property. All kinds of birds. There was a running creek and a pond which allowed us to be serenaded by frogs at night. Everything was well kept up. Neighborhood felt safe at night. Found a little café in La Fortuna that specialized in chocolate, Absolutely delicious there.'

The kids all loved the swimming hole and hot tub, and it was fun to cook on an open fire. The cabin was comfortable for two families (total of 9 people), and was well equipped.'

'Our Green Treasure House stay was great! The grounds, the outdoor living space and the pool were beautiful. The house itself was pretty basic but the beds were comfortable and the cabin was very clean. There was no need to spend time in the house because the outdoor space was so inviting. We felt very secure as the property was fenced and gated. It did require a taxi or Uber to go anywhere. We loved the property and would highly recommend it.'

'The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep —...

'Able to drive right to the property thanks to google maps. Incredible home with magnificent view of the volcano. AC worked well in all rooms. Bugs were an issue at night times but we kept off the outside lights to eliminate that problem'

'Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town. '
