'We stayed in Richard's property for a week-end to celebrate a 60th birthday. We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and...

'My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Jean-Paul & Genevieve in their gorgeous B&B. Located in a small countryside village, we found the location perfect for exploring the wider area, though it is remote from shops & restaurants so you must plan accordingly.
