'Fabulous property with very helpful staff. Ran the local Parkrun and missed breakfast time but was made some fantastic bacon sandwiches when we both returned to the guest house. Staff was very accommodating which made the visit very enjoyable.'

'Slight misty smell in reception - probably due to hot weather and drainage . Rooms very clean but dates these days . Coffee at breakfast has to be black with milk unless paying extra for cappuccino or latte etc . Breakfast food selection was good. Was expecting the room to have a coffee machine , or more upper class coffee bags .'

'Everything was excellent. There was one issue with a noisy water pump that was fixed promptly as soon as we brought it to our host's attention. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Southport. Parking would possibly be a little tight if all the spaces were in use and your vehicle was large. Location is good: quiet but within easy walking distance of town. Eateries very close indeed.'

'I stayed at the hotel between the 11-13 of July. Very hot weekend. Price of the hotel included PARKING and air conditioning. When I arrived I found out there is only a fan with water in the room. I was told exactly where to park by the receptionist which never bothered to let me know I need to register the parking as if I should miraculously know. I received a penalty for the for the free parking because I did not register and was never told to do so. I’m now having to pay £170 because of the...

'Awful place, filthy! Wasn’t cleaned and left in a mess by the last guest. No clean bed sheets. Dust everywhere, Dirty loo, no toilet roll, filthy mirror, filthy fridge. Awful location as well!'
