'We stayed in Room 18, it’s not the biggest and only has a small window looking onto a fire escape. It was clean and the bed comfy, but I prefer a bigger room.'

'I had a problem with my first room. Dirty towels and an unchanged bed. It was very unpleasant. The reception dismissed it as a normal occurrence and promptly offered a new room to look at. This was clean at least. The bathroom door did stick and I was locked in, (my partner had to kick it open) so this would be most distressing is staying alone. All this said, the room rates are well below average in the area, especially for a weekend.'

'Can't fault any aspect of our stay. We found service, accommodation and location to be first class.'

'Loved every thing about this place. Fabulous cafe bar, ambiance, decor, service and food (I had tapas) all top notch - I would be a regular if I didn’t live 250 miles away. Room for the night was small but luxurious, comfy bed, great bed linen and great shower. Whoever designed and runs this place knows what they are doing. Excellent and thoroughly recommend visiting this little gem.'

'Beautifully clean and well equipped, in great location'

'Typisch Engels hotel, Kruip door sluip door naar de kamer Stoffig en in slechte staat Erg behulpzaam personeel toen het internet niet bleek te werken Oude kamers met slechte bedden'

'A beautiful place to stay with a cosy room, gorgeous decor and a lovely welcoming feel. Friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast. We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. A real gem!'

'The hotel itself was lovely, but it was the kindness of the staff that especially impressed me. I would definitely stay there again'

'Lanes to property took some negotiating but once here everything was fine. Cleanliness, Facilities, Peaceful surroundings, Superb breakfast and lovely staff'
