'This house is absolutely beautiful and close to the beach. It has everything you need plus more, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, baby gate at the bottom of the steps and basic necessities if you didn’t make it to the store on the way. The owners are super fast at responding with any questions. The house is dog friendly and you can’t tell because there isn’t a smell of pets only a can for doggy poo and water bowls. 'Great family friendly place to stay. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Access to the beach was amazing, short walk to the end of the street and you are right on the boardwalk. The beach was beautiful and clean. It's away from the major tourist part of the beach which we preferred. Highly recommend staying here. '

'It was a beautiful RV in a RV resort, just as the pictures described. So many amenities adding to our comfort. The girls loved fishing off the docks and kayaking. Swimming pool and Beach was very close. The sunset was breathtaking observed from a lovely deck. Susan was prompt in her answers and quick to give details of local points of interest. 'There was a huge rain storm as we were approaching our rental, which flooded the road that was necessary to enter the area. Our hosts were on the phone with us, helping us to get a hotel in the area that accommodated pets. 'Stay was very enjoyable. Close proximity to the beach, but does require crossing a main road. Home was very clean. Two minor inconveniences but did not impact overall trip. One could’ve been user error. Could not get outlets to work in one of the rooms and the second was a light bulb went out in a bathroom which we swapped with another extra bulb in a different room. '

Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. 'We were in town for the airshow and the house was a great place to stay. It’s an easy walk to restaurants (particularly coffee and breakfast), has easy parking and was spotlessly clean. Recommended.'

'My husband and our 3 yr old son had a wonderful stay. We've been coming to Carova Beach for years and this was definately the nicest house we've stayed at. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
