'A great location from which to see Volterra and San Gimignano. Walking around the citadel and along the river was lots of fun. The main room of the apartment has AC, but it's still warm when the temperature is in the 90s. Having two bathrooms was very convenient. Plenty of space for the family to hang out together. '

'There are not enough words to express how wonderful this home is! Comfortable, clean, and a perfect location. Everything we could ask for and more. Cindy was an amazing host - answering all our questions, providing guidance on places to go and things to see, and helping with those all-important dinner reservations. 'Surroundings were absolutely magical! The view, the pool, the vineyard, the buildings, the tranquility. Breakfast was good and the wine bar offered some drinks and icecream which was nice during our days at the pool. We also enjoyed the tennis court. Staff was very nice and the place was very clean. The apartment itself (scoiatollo) had everything we needed but I would definitely consider repainting the sharp lime green and purple colors which didn’t really fit the style and made the building...

'Traumhafte Lage inmitten der Weinberge von Certaldo. Das Haus ist vom Ambiente sehr schön, die Küche eher spartanisch ausgestattet, es fehlt ein Ofen und die Küche ist nur begrenzt nutzbar, der Vermieter hat aber sofort auf unsere Nachfragen und Bitten reagiert. Insgesamt ein schönes Retreat.'

'The apartment was far more than we needed so next time we can bring family members. Impruneta was a wonderful little village. Every morning we walked down to the piazza to get excellent pasticceria and coffee. Just like the locals! Florence was not too tough to reach but you probably need a car to get there. One of our favorite things was just driving around the Tuscan countryside, all the hills and sharp turns. Enchanting!'

'first - every aspect of the place is wonderful. there are 2 things to be aware of. 1. it is secluded and remote - requiring a drive into the countryside ending in a 10 minute drive on an unpaved road; 2. wi-fi is difficult to unavailable. aside from this we couldn’t recommend it more strongly'

'Es war fantastisch! Die Kommunikation und Organisation war super und problemlos, die Ferienwohnung geschmackvoll typisch-toskanisch und das Gelände wirklich toll. Der Ausblick ist absolut Postkartenreif.Greve selbst ist schnell erreicht und ein netter Ort, mit schönem Markplatz, Restaurants, Shops, etc.Die Lage der Wohnung ist super um diverse Tagesausflüge in verschiedene tolle Städte wie Siena, Florenz, innerhalb von 1-1,5h zu unternehmen.Wir sind total zufrieden und können einen Aufenthalt...

'Servicen er i top, der er mange pools og aktiviteter til børnene. Vi havde halvpension og maden var virkelig lækker. Vi kunne vælge mellem 3 restauranter hver dag og især maden på Vecchio var lækker. Alt var virkelig flot og velholdt og personalet er super venlige, hjælpsomme og professionelle!'

'The apartment is in a castle in Certaldo Alta. You have a modern apartment but once you step out of the door you feel like nothing has changed since Boccaccio lived here. Great restaurants down the street. Dolce vita at its best. The family loved it.'

"Mooi complex waar je bijna verdwaald. Je waant je af en toe in een museum. Kamers zijn zeer ruim, airco werkt prima. Badkamer outdated, maar voldoet. Ontbijtbuffet redelijk, maar zou beter kunnen voor een dergelijke locatie. Wellness met inpandig zwembad is netjes. Groot nadeel, buitenzwembad ligt bij een dependance aan de andere kant van de weg op een heuvel, stevig klimmen. Ligbedden staan in een getrapte verhoging op gras. Oogt allemaal wat matig waardoor de score afneemt. Ze hebben op de hoofdlocatie echt wel ruimte om ook de buitenpoort netjes geïntegreerd en met wat meer luxe aan te leggen. Verder ben je in een half uurtje in hartje Florence (35 km). "

"The staff was friendly and everything was clean, but the accommodation didn’t feel fresh to me. The interior looked dated and at times a bit kitschy. Our bathroom had no ventilation, and the sealant showed black stains, which gave an unhygienic impression. The use of fabric furniture and carpets made the place feel less fresh and luxurious. The welcome was underwhelming: you have to carry your luggage up a steep gravel path yourself, with no assistance from staff, which didn’t feel very hospitable. I also missed a personal touch; the hotel is quite large, which leaves little room for genuine contact or a warm atmosphere. On a positive note, the location is truly beautiful and peaceful. The food was also good. This place has great potential, but in my opinion, it’s in real need of renovation. With a thorough update, it could truly become a top-tier stay. "
