'The Shepherd’s Hut is a well appointed with puzzles the kids loved and a great plastic pool! Samantha is a fantastic host and the kids loved the farm and the animals, especially the peacocks! Highly recommended. TV had football so our teenager was happy! Very close to Glen Rose, Fossil Rim, and Dinosaur Valley. A wonderful stay.'

'The property is beautiful! It’s a bit of a bumpy ride to get there, but the views are amazing! We only stayed one night and were in and out quite a bit and had no issues. It was quiet, the cabin was impeccable, and had everything we could possibly need! You can tell it is well maintained and cared for. '

'100% old-school Texas fishing camp! Loved this spot. Right on the water, ducks everywhere, can't get any more O.G. than this. I kept expecting to see my grandfather come around the corner with a stringer of bass in hand. Super friendly staff. There is a cafe on-site for fried foods, but be advised to bring any other goods you may need from town. It is a bit of a haul back to shop for forgotten items.'
