'We just moved to the area and were waiting on our house to be ready. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with a wonderfully appointed house. Anything that a cook can want was available, including minor food items. After days on the road it was a welcome rest. We were able to explore the area with confidence while our personal affects stayed at the rental. The towels are soft, the beds are incredible and the space itself is beautiful and simply decorated. 'We loved our stay in this delightful 1940s home that sits right on the water near Port Orchard. Most of our time was spent sitting in the comfy rockers on the back porch, watching the tide come in or out.Our grandson, who is a fleet lieutenant in the Navy, joined us for a couple of nights. He loved the Navy-themed decor in the home, as well as the spectacular view.We managed to choose one of the hottest days of the year to visit and were able to stay cool enough by using a box fan in the window...
