'The property was beautifully kept inside and out. The room we stayed in had beautiful furniture and the view was of the beach and fort and Cauldy Island and with the sun shining it was amazing. You could walk to the beach and around town within a short distance. There’s steep steps to the beach or further up, a zig-zag path. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety too. 'I have stayed here before and second time round I felt it had improved a lot (not sure why as same owners!) I had the large room 1 on the ground floor which was very comfortable. Breakfast is a basic basket (with an incredible bacon, sausage and egg bap!!) which suited me well, but maybe it won’t be for everyone, and at 9am quite late for business people. 'Welcoming staff. Clean room with 2 chairs, which we used to sit by the window to admire the view of the water. It’s amazing how many hotels only provide one chair in double rooms. Good evening meal and breakfast. Nice lounge, on our floor, which we used to sit and read on a rainy afternoon. We would book again if coming to the area. '
