'The chalets are located around a lake with ducks and swans. Nice house with 2 bedrooms, a good sofabed, two badrooms and a complete kitchen. Very helpful reception. Sorry that we only booked one night. We will return!'

Bezoek de in bont zandsteen opgetrokken kathedraal en het aan de noordkant van de stad gelegen kasteel dat centraal staat in de Engels Schotse geschiedenis. Carlisle is een ideale springplank voor de bezoeken aan het Lake District.'

'The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. My room for one person was spacious and comfortably. . I loved the small kitchen and the crumpets and jam ! The only minus point was there was no airco and the room was very warm even with the 2 fans that were provided on full.'

'Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.'

'It was a fun, funky apartment superbly located in Bowness on Windermere. Even though we got a lot of rain during our visit, we took the ferry to see Hill Top Farm and explore the Lake District. We took a 10-lakes tour that worked out great for seeing this beautiful area!'

'Our first time in a pod but we loved it. We stayed with our two young children, who were sad to leave! The pod was clean, cosy, had everything you need and on a quiet but secure site. We booked very last minute but had an easy check in with great communication from hoasts. Would come again x'
