'For the past 3 years, I have come every other season and have only stayed at this property. Everyone at the front desk was super nice, attentive, and very helpful. This hotel is about an 8-10-minute walk to Sensoji temple and the 24-hour Donki store, and is just outside the kitchen home area. There are Lawson and 711 not too far away, about a 13-minute walk from Tarawachi station on the Ginza line. It is also close to the Skytree. 'Very small room even by Japanese standards and the window was frosted glass so you couldn’t see through it. Quite claustrophobic. Room was clean and airconditioning worked well. Staff was just okay, nothing special. Elevators slow. Wouldn’t stay here again.'

But it requires 10+ min walk to get up the right rail station to ueno which is not good. Breakfast is available in the hostel with reasonable price if you don’t walk out to look for it first thing in the morning which is very good. '
