'The Hotel itself was clean and inviting. The staff were exceptional, very helpful with allowing my to leave my bags safely with them and using a holding number for my set. Unfortunately the room was lack luster, which is understandable for a budge hotel, however my specific room was showing its wear(specifically the carpet) and was also a bit smelly and musty, possibly from being damp a some point or previous inattentive guest?… turning on the hvac unit onto dehumidification worked well after...

It’s close to several amazing temples and shrines, with numerous hidden gems all around. The staff speaks English far better than my Japanese, and anything beyond that was covered with translation apps or simply pointing.
