'Super friendly staff. Room was clean and the mattress actually comfortable (been a problem, worn out mattresses lately when i travel) breakfast was good. Probably time to update some of the cushions outside at the bar. They are tired. Over all great location. Great stay. '

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'Our room was very clean, comfortable bed, and way out of anybody else’s noise pollution! This was very much appreciated. We also had a very wonderful experience in speaking with the doorman outside about the area. He was so enlightening and even managed to point us in the direction of a great restaurant for our last meal in the Gaslamp District. The food at the hotel restaurant, Ace Porter, was exceptional as well. Our first night, we dined there and our meals were superb! I highly recommend...

'We enjoyed our stay! Coronado has a small town feel, it’s walkable, the beach is spacious, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in town. It’s just a short ride to other attractions in San Diego. Cherokee Lodge is comfortable and affordable. They have beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and toys available to borrow. 'Very nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast was really good and actually before then some restaurants near by. Complimentary water was a nice as well. Beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. Great standard. Also conveniently located near attractions either walking or a short uber ride.'

'Over prized hotel. 800 dollars for two nights is not cheap. You expect the basics to be in order. Because there's nothing really special about this hotel that would justify a high price. My bathroom sink and bath drain were clothed. Showering means standing enkel deep in water. Going by the lines on the bath this is a long time problem. Also there was water on the floor near the toilet. On top of that they forgot to clean my room. And to top it of the wifi is terrible. What didn't make it...
