Belle propriété bien située

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la maison vu les commentaires plutôt tièdes que nous avions lus. L’endroit était propre. Des améliorations cosmétiques ont été apportées. C’est une maison vaste et confortable pour un grand groupe. Assez basique comme ustensiles et équipement dans la cuisine mais le secteur est bien pourvu en restaurants! Nous garderons un bon souvenir de notre séjour.

Disappointing for the price

Firstly , i want to say that this is the first time i’ve left a negative review , and myself and my family have rented many many properties , we are very easily pleased people and feel horrible complaining . I must also say that Villa direct who was our contact and michelle were extremely lovely and helpful . just the house itself was not up to a great standard , which is something the rental company really need to discuss with the owner . When we arrived we were surprised that the house was not the same exterior as pictured , it is a dark grey colour not yellow as shown , which made it a challenge to find considering we were expecting a yellow house . the air con is was blowing hot air out and there was no way of cooling it , so the first night sleep was very uncomfy as we arrived too late to get anything done about it . this was addressed promptly tho and an engineer sent out .. who managed to fix it within a few days after going into the roof and causing dust etc to fall all over the clothes in the walk in closet , he also left a big tool box in the bedroom . hardly any of the very dated lights worked properly , and didn’t work at all in the twin room . the beds were so uncomfy , my 23 year old son said it was like sleeping on a broken wooden box in the twin room and had awful back ache the rest of the trip . all the beds were creaky , and noisy . the pool heating we paid for didn’t work until about a week into the trip , but when it was on it was actually fantastic , so nice and warm , this was a bonus. only two of the hairdryers worked , many of the plug sockets didn’t work and the garden seats looked and felt like they had been found in a dumpster , two of the ones i sat on had broken straps under the. cushions The games room was decorated really great ! lovely theme .. just a shame that one pool/snooker cue had no tip and the other was bent at the tip .. so not a lot of fun to be had in the games room . what we did like however . was the space , it is a lovely sized villa , the secluded feel out the back is lovely and the gated community felt very safe and very well kept . the tea and coffee sachets available was a nice welcome too . this villa needs tlc and a bit more thought , for the money we paid i felt we were a bit of an afterthought . i wouldn’t stay here again . unless it was half the price , then i would feel i got a good deal .

Not very clean.

We found roaches in the master bathroom down stairs. In order to dry your clothing the dryer has to be restarted twice. We had to buy trash bags, toilet paper and wash cloths. There was no broom very limited things to cook with little to no pots and pans and some of the dishes were dirty. Please put somewhere in extra large print that you have to pay extra to heat the pool. Other than that the neighborhood was very nice and the security was great. This place has potential but needs some little extra touches.

When we first arrive to the house we notice that the house is a different color from what is posted.

The flies at the front door nearly took us out when entering the property. The carpet is nasty the walls have scuff marks on it the fence around the pool got mold on it the toilets was nasty the air conditioning upstairs didn't have no battery in thermostat so we had to sweat through out the night call after 5 pm didn't get no answer the fridge wasn't working once we got there but it eventually started working. For the type of money we spent this house should be in better condition than it was. And they have really small television in the rooms

Weekend getaway

There were some pros and cons. I think this house is certainly being remodeled as we speak because I did notice some improvements based on the pictures provided . Kitchen and living room furniture being a couple of those improvements. The biggest con is the carpet ... it’s disgusting... there wasn’t one room that the carpet didn’t have stains. That would be my biggest complaint.. because otherwise this house has the potential to fit a large group comfortably and is conveniently located near restaurants.
