« Wow! Thank you Outlook Inn. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my room had been upgraded to an ocean view room. Thank you universe, Expedia and outlook staff. The gorgeous cozy room was perfect for my solo getaway. Cascade Lake Trail is a nice little hike (2.7 miles) around this beautiful lake on Orcas Island. This pic was taken towards the end, and is a popular spot for those who like to jump from high places (20 feet or so) into the water below. Great family fun, and the cool water is a nice reward after the hour, or so, hike. There is also another spot, about 5 minutes before this one, that the kids jumped from, closer to 50 feet; a bit unsettling to watch that program!

For a peaceful, relaxing vacation, the San Juan Islands are an excellent place to visit. They are located between the northern coast of Washington and the city of Victoria, Canada. Lynn and I stayed on Orcas Island and while driving back to our rental, stoped at the beach in the town of Eastsound to take pictures of the sunset over the bay. These two were swimming around.

"Hôtel plutôt en centre ville , proche de multiples restaurants Parking en rue payant jusqu a 18h ou possibilité de parking à arriere de l hôtel (payant? je ne sais pas ) Grand bâtiment, intérieur assez typique, à la fois récent / moderne mais old fashion aussi avec ses escaliers, son haut plafond etc Chambre très spacieuse, moderne. Literie assez molle et basse (proche du sol) (ce n est pas ce que je préfère dans les 2 cas mais elle était de qualité) Bar interne à l hôtel avec possibilités de manger. Pas de petits déjeuners en revanche mais la ville regorge de petits restaurants ou de chaînes en proposant.
