'The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...

'Check in and locating the house we’re really easy with great arrival information from the owner. The house had everything we needed with lots of space. We were very comfortable and the private space to park at the top of the village was a great help. A fantastic location in the village.'

'Booked Brook Hall for a stag weekend of 12 guys, which Edward was happy to accommodate. It was a fantastic base while we spent most of our time out and about in York (20 - 30 minutes away) and Leeds (30 - 40 minutes away). 'Location was hard to find, had to ask someone in a local shop. It is not accessible and up cobbled steps. We had two dogs and a 6 month old in a pram so that was difficult to navigate. The yard space was okay to let the dogs out and there is a gate but it was always being left open by others so if you have dogs who like to run off, this is not good. The property itself - it did the job. It was somewhere to sleep however not somewhere I think would be comfortable to stay in all day or for...

'Great location for sure, and this is a wonderful location. But… the house was for sale and I wonder if this has impacted some of the cleaning (cobwebs, filthy microwave and rusting knives). The biggest issue was construction going on next door and not being made aware this was taking place in advance (otherwise we would have cancelled). Lots of scaffold over windows, and banging/music going on - this would have been in place for several days/weeks. Stayed here before and love this place but this...

'Really small cottage not really suited to 4 people, only one 2 seater sofa in living room, small bathroom, whole cottage could do with a freshen up, good location & comms from host & stay was really good. '

'Our cottage was exactly as pictured and described. Our hostess left really good instructions and made sure we felt welcome with a personal note. The property location is absolutely perfect, close to restaurants, stores, and many shops; all within walking distance. It is a great hub for seeing the Moors, the Dales, and the Lake District. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. '

"Locatie van het hotel s goed gelegen. En op 5min van get centrum. Al bij al is het een goed hotel maar 160euro voor 1 nacht vind ik nogal duur. Helaas komt dit doordat er een beurs is en dan alle hotels volboekt zijn en dan gaan se prijzen hoger. De kamer is goed mits dat erte weinig licht is als je de hoofdschakkelaar aan doet. Je moet alle lampen een per een aandoen. Badkamer klein en het water is niet drinkbaar ik denk dat er teveel kalk was. Zodoende voor die prijs mocht er wel 1 of 2 flesjes water aanwezig zijn. Als laatste het onbijt stopt al om 9.30. "
