'As is normally the case the photos don’t quite reflect the property’s condition. We would like to give a balanced review and fundamentally the property is in a great location, even though no parking but can be found in adjacent streets with permit provided. The property isn’t suitable for a family due to size. Overwhelmingly the damp which is evident in many places is an issue, as is the loose and degrading paint and loose and degrading skirting and quadrant. Fridge wasn’t clean, the appliances...

'Was informed a cost of £25 for the dog staying only then to be told it would be £80 on day also our apartment wasn’t cleaned on a 4 night stay and no replenishment of tea / coffee . On a positive decent location and the room was fine . Ps would benefit from blackout blinds .'

'Postgate Barn was everything we hope it would be and more; it's location is great for exploring the North York Moors and the views across the valley are spectacular if you have the weather!The Barn is perfect for 2 couples and has all the amenities you will need, including a well equipped kitchen. The welcome touches were very much appreciated!Mark and Moya are superb hosts, with quick communication and offers of advice/support if needed.'
