« The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. »

« This place is spot on for a little retreat away from the bustle of nearby towns. The host is really lovely and accommodating. We had an issue with hot water that she resolved immediately. There’s lovely little touches like some welcome snacks. Honestly excellent value as well, you’d definitely not complain even if prices were higher given quality of the stay. »

« The property was in an amazing location just a short walk from the centre of Whitby. A very substantial spacious holiday let. The interior was modern clean and fresh with great amenities. The whole booking experience with VRBO was smooth and simple with good communication from the owner. I would definitely recommend this property for either a long or short sray. »

« Great house, all king size beds. Relaxed feel to it, we felt at home immediately. Good sized living atea, showers all great. Perfect location just 10 mins walk into Whitby so no issues with parking! Highly recommend. »

« Great property in first class condition - well placed for all amenities. Lots of hills so you’ll leave fitter than when you arrived. Host was very helpful and Whitby is a great place to holiday - we couldn’t have asked for more »

« It was a lovely little cottage, had everything we could need. Staff were also very helpful. very comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay very much. However the mattresses were a bit hard but that made little difference. We still slept well 😊 would recommend! »

« The cottage was perfectly for us, beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with everything you may need for a stay away from home, from a picnic bag to a slow cooker. The location is perfect.Walking distance to the park and ride for Whitby and a great restaurant and pub across the road. « The cottage is very close to the beach and the town centre, we found it to be very quiet and relaxing, and it has a parking spot outside the property, it is well equipped it has a full sized fridge freezer, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this roomy cottage. »

« The house was big and there where plenty of room for the 6 of us. The bedrooms were fine, and there were toys if you had children. It would have been nice with soap in both bathrooms, and enough toiletpaper. It is nice if those things are OK when you arrive. We would like a proper cloth in the kitchen to wipe the table. « On arrival we were given postcode to another Jet cottage that we tried code to get key but didnt work. Contacted agent who gave a different postcode. When i queried this he said it was the same location...but it wasnt. So didnt start our trip well hunting around whitby. Then into the cottage and our first impression walking in...very large stain on settee. Lots of mould around edges of shower. Toilet flush broken, resulting in having to take lid off citern and flush inside. Toilet smelt of urine...

« We were a party of 9 - mixture of family and friends and a small dog - marking my niece’s achievement. We live at a distance from each other so the size and layout of the house was perfect for us. Plenty of bathrooms, bedrooms over 3 floors, living rooms on more than one level. We lost each other when we didn’t want to be together !
