'This property was off the beaten path of a small town that has very little to offer for travelers and we were told by locals the town was unsafe. This property had great people working at the security gate. Check in was difficult and not in line with the information given to us by the host. We were told to go to the office between 9-5 to get a parking permit but security indicated a paperwork authorization was not yet received by the host. Our check in was at 4 so we had to come back and wait...

'This home was absolutely amazing! It is in Makaha Valley which is tucked away in the mountain. We had a view of the mountain and the ocean. The house is warm and inviting. It is bright and decorated so amazing. They have so much stuff available for you, we absolutely loved our stay. The AC units were a huge plus because it was very warm. 'I was originally going to leave 3 stars, but what happened on my last day made this experience unacceptable. At 6:50 a.m., I was woken up by a dog barking nonstop in the room directly next to ours. I recorded a video outside their door and called the front desk. I was told someone would come up to address it. Thirty minutes later, the dog was STILL barking and no one had come to check or resolve the issue. Being woken up that early was frustrating, but the lack of response from the hotel made it...
