The green valley of the Mendrisiotto region, with its thick forests and hills covered with vineyards, reveals itself magnificently from the windows of SALORINO 2, an elegant attic for your holidays in Salorino, a panoramic village above Mendrisio.



The living room opens up to the dining area, with a glass table for 4 for family dining. Next to it is the cosy corner with sofa, armchair and large TV, where you can watch a film or read a book.

The kitchen is separate, custom-made and equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve meals. Here, on the table for 2, you can enjoy an aperitif while preparing dinner!

There are two bedrooms, both doubles, which are spacious and furnished with chests of drawers and niches to keep your wardrobe in order. From the original semi-circular windows you can see the surrounding landscape.

There are also two bathrooms, one with a shower and one, tiled in an intense blue, with a beautiful bathtub that offers a wonderful view of the greenery surrounding the village.



ATTENTION: the fireplace is only decorative and CANNOT BE USED!



Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. 

We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast.

The apartment does not have a reserved parking space, but you can park in public paid parking spaces nearby.

What\'s nearby:

Salorino, a short distance from the town centre of Mendrisio, lies in a panoramic position on the road leading to Monte Generoso, surrounded by nature. Its historic village is surrounded by picturesque vineyards, from which the area\'s renowned merlot is produced. There are numerous wine cellars where you can taste and buy the local wine.

In a few minutes from Solino you can reach Bellavista, the place where the paths and the little train to Monte Generoso start. The summit welcomes you with the famous Fiore di Pietra, a modern refuge designed by Ticino architect Botta, with a self-service snack bar and an elegant restaurant; from here the view of Lake Lugano and its mountains is breathtaking.



How to arrive:

By car, from the A2 motorway, take exit 52-Varese towards Varese/Stabio/Mendrisio and set your GPS: follow for Monte Generoso, in 5 minutes you will reach the flat.

By train, get off at Mendrisio station and take bus no. 522 direction \"Somazzo, Paese\" for 6 stops. Get off at the stop \"Salorino, Municipio\" and walk for 1 minute.
