'We had a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views over Lake Como. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful. '

'Without overstating it, I can say that I have never stayed at a hotel or other short-term rental with better service, both leading up to the stay and during it. The communication and the assistance, including the level of depth and detail of each, simply could not have been better (our principal point of contact was Francesca, who embodied the concept of "going the extra mile"). 'Charming look into the past. No AC but had beautiful mountain air blowing in through windows. It was comfortable at night. We weren’t there during the day. Beds are firm but not all amenities were in tip too shape. WiFi was weeeak. People were friendly. Community too. '

'Wij hebben enorm genoten van onze vakantie in Escale Incanto! Het uitzicht is fenomenaal, het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, en de omgeving met al die idyllische dorpjes is wonderschoon. Ook voor onze kinderen (15 en 10 jaar) was er veel leuks te beleven; suppen, kanoën, bootje huren en natuurlijk het strandje zo dichtbij….! De gastvrouw, Claudine, is uiterst hartelijk en behulpzaam. Wij komen graag een keertje terug naar dit paradijsje!'

'Nice and spacious house. Only (small) disadvantage (if you are there with kids) is the busy road with not a lot of overview in front of the house . But there is a safer road to the lake behind the house.'

'Cozy accomodation, there are at least 2 routes up/down. The first time we had the "adventurous" route where there were really small and high angle mountain roads. Our Toyota Aygo didn't like that, at all ;) However, If you set your navigation to Epikure, you will see a road going up which also leads up to the accomodation, but much much easier road. Adriana, the housekeeper is a sweetheart!'

'The view iwas perfect as it is shown on the photos and even better. The house however was not fully equiped. Although the description told us that there is room for four persons, actually there is room for only two persons. There is only one bed for two, and there is one couch for one person. The fourth person has to sleep is on a airbed (which you have to bring on your own!). Moreover, there was no WIFI / Wlan as described. Therefor the house did not meet our expectations. That is a pitty...

'We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine.'
