Generally, our stay was a good one but there are a few things that would have made it outstanding. First the positives: the location was awesome! We were close to the metro and a small market, and it was on a quiet side street so we heard no outside noise. The space itself worked really well for our party of 7. Plenty of beds and having four bathrooms was wonderful! Now the suggestions: the apartment could have been cleaner upon arrival. It was clear the living room hadn't been vacuumed when I stepped on pebbles. I ended up doing this myself. The bedroom pillows were awful - for what we paid, the pillows should be much nicer. Also, it would have been helpful to have instructions for some things - especially because we don't speak the language. "How to" instructions for the TV, coffee maker, and washer/dryer would have been really helpful. The walls were all scuffed up. Paint touch ups would go a long way to conveying the apartment is well-cared for. Most of the showers need attention - they are slow draining and it's off-putting to stand in dirty water while you shower. A coat rack inside the front door would be really helpful, as would hooks/towel bars in the bathrooms. We contacted the host while we were there with questions and they were very prompt in responding with helpful responses. I would recommend it and would probably stay there again. With a little attention, it could be an excellent place to stay.
