    Beautiful apartment behind Plaza Mayor and located in an authentic 'corrala' from the XVI century properly equipped with everything needed to live here.



    The space

    This elegantly decorated apartment is very quiet and has lots of light. It is located in a historic building which was formerly a convent and has been recently refurbished with high quality care – everything is brand new.

    The apartment is in the fourth floor (ground + 4) of a walk-up building, like most buildings in the centre of Madrid... so there is NO elevator.

    Guest access

    The apartment is composed of:

    * A living room with stylish decoration, big sofa, 42”TV, DVD player, A/C, folding table

    * Living room balcony which lets in lots of light; it looks out over Toledo Street and one of the entrances to the Plaza Mayor -- really wonderful views! The balcony doors are insulated, so when closed no noise will disturb you during your stay.

    * Marble floors throughout

    * Kitchen is open plan to the living room and fully equipped with everything you need to cook and eat, including stove, microwave, oven and refrigerator.

    * Bedroom with a super comfy double bed (140 x 200 cm) with bedside tables and lamps.

    * A bathroom with everything done in marble and a nice shower.

    * Service room with washing machine (laundry detergent included!), dryer and spacious closet. * Wi-Fi is also available during your stay, we know that’s important ;)

    * One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.

    * Baby crib available on request, the price is €15 for the entire stay

    No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.



    Of course, fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as an iron, hair dryer, etc. We also provide maps and information on Madrid as well as basic kitchen ingredients.

    If you think there is something missing, we'd be happy to have your feedback in order to continue improving the apartment.

The location was perfect, and the property had everything. I have never had a dryer in Europe, and it was particularly important because it rained throughout our trip. We used the amply supplied kitchen and the bed was comfortable.

The apartment is comfortable and well appointed once you climb the stairs. And it is in an excellent location. The air conditioning and the washer and dryer were nice to have. The host was courteous and responsive throughout the cumbersome pre-check in process that involved making payment through a third party site that assesses an additional fee and completing a series of requirements that seemed to be over the top. We appreciated the air conditioning and the washer and dryer. Would definitely recommend the apartment for anyone who does not have physical limitations.

Lovely apartment walkable to everything

We had a wonderful time in Madrid! The apartment was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is a walk-up in an older building, so be ready for a lot of stairs and turns. In terms of location, it was close to everything a tourist would do. We were able to walk everywhere. My husband and I live in a city in a four story house, so stairs and walking are normal for us. Possibly not for others.

Madrid in May

The property owners were great with us, a warm welcome and introduction to the property, even though we were delayed by a taxi we had booked not turning up. We didn’t know that it was a bank holiday in celebration of the patron saint of Madrid but we couldn’t have been in a better place, very close to Plaza Mayor where there was 3 days of a music festival, and other street parades nearby. The location and owners were great and we would highly recommend the property, albeit that it was on the 4th floor, and no lift. That would not put me off booking it again (and we are in our sixties).

Overall enjoyable stay

The apartment is as listed. Great location close to Plaza Mayor. The 4 flights of steps is fine, but must be noted by anyone before you book. Unfortunately a few cosmetic things were not right when we first checked in on a Saturday, suggesting a lack of attention to detail 2 examples being - Light Bulbs needed replacing & there were cracked glasses in the kitchen cupboard. These were corrected by Monday, as Sunday was a non working day for the handyman. This did not detract from the enjoyment of our holiday, but was disappointing. The agency staff were very responsive & helpful recommendations were given. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Logement très bien situé. On a tout fait à pied. Appartement de tout confort. Immeuble très silencieux. La climatisation marche très bien. Les gérants sont très réactif et aimables. Tout était conforme à la description. Parfait pour 2 adultes.Ai prévenu que la poignée du freezer était cassée et pas de bac à glaçons. En résumé que du positif. Je recommanderais. Laurence Jezequel

We really enjoyed our stay here in Feb 2018 (2 adults and 1 child). The apartment is quite nice inside with a full washer and dryer really helping out those of us who travel only with carry-ons. The location is quite good with the Plaza Mayor literally being around the corner and Calle Atocha (one of the main roads) under a block away. We stayed somewhere else on our first few days in Madrid and really wished we had this apartment the entire time as it really was that much better for only about $5 more per night. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they really were accommodating and responsive. If we make it back to Madrid I'll definitely try to book this apartment again.
