We were in the apartment 8 days and used it as a jumping off point to revisit Madrid after a 2 year hiatus, and to take a 2 day trip to Granada on the bullet train and also a 1 day visit to Toledo, also by train. We had zero problems getting Uber and taxis to pick us up and drop us off to/from the airport, Atocha station or Prado area. The biggest plus was the apartment's location just off the very vibrant Calle Mayor and near the Royal Palace. We enjoyed strolling along C. Mayor (Christmas decorations out already) and finding shops and restaurants on its many side streets and historic neighborhoods. The apartment was a good fit for 2 people and could handle 2 more at max. The showers were hot, beds comfortable, WIFI worked and there were plenty of TVs. We stocked the fridge mostly with refreshments and snacks and only cooked 2 mornings. There were plenty of pots/pans and tableware for our needs (notice the large banquet table in the picture). The building was adequately lit and was safe. The elevator provided easy access to our apartment on the 2nd floor. We did not have to bother Millie or Eitan during our stay but they were a call/text/email away at all times. We had a fabulous stay and would recommend this apartment for those looking to enjoy this very fun area of Madrid.
