Herbergen in Mactan Island

'I had a lovely stay in The Reef - what a beautiful place! Very nice rooms, fine breakfast, very warm and friendly staff, and very easy access to great snorkeling. One point of attention - when the staff orders a taxi, they automatically order a luxury taxi which is double as expensive as a white taxi. As you need to pay taxis with cash, this can lead to a negative surprise when you are low on cash (for me, on my trip to the airport going back)'

'Excellent! Beautiful location, quiet en friendly staff. The food was delicious. We went to this resort last February (2019), to vist our family in Tagbilaran for the first time. The staff was so friendly, we hadn't met friendly staff like they was before. We visited the Islands on the east side of the Mactan Island by boatrip. We also went to the Panglao Island by ferry from Cebu, keep in mind that i will take a half day to come there. Outside the resort was a lot of traffic and real Philippines...

'After check-in, we were told that there was no air conditioning. A fan was sent to our room.'

The hotel is located in a fairly quiet area, which is perfect for those looking to relax while still being within reach of nearby attractions. The airport is just 20 minutes drive. The staff was friendly and accommodating, adding to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel you can’t go wrong with it!'

'The hotel is ok. But The food and drinks is over priced, packed and some of the pool are not clean. And i need to call housekeeper to clean our room when we 1st arrived coz so dusty especially the floor.'
