Vooral het restaurant La Fleur, met soms aangename verrassingen. De "Happy 1+1 hour" in Ascot Bar, van 5:30 pm tot 6:30 pm is m.i. eveneens een nuttige, onderbenutte tip ....'

'Although the internet service of this hotel is REALLY bad, the rest of it is plainly gorgeous. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff is corteous, helpful, friendly, and efficient. '20min walk from Luxor temple, several restaurants for dinner and a rooptoppool. On arrival they give you a personal tour in the hotel. Only negative point is that there is no extra AC in the gym. Or i didn't find it.'

'Such a gem of a find on the West Bank, out of the way in the New Luxor, 5 mins drive from the main sites. The Manager was a great host & tour guide, I can't thank him enough for his hospitality. Will be booking again in the future. '

'Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel. We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time. Laundry service was available and great price. Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs. It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back...

'Quiet location outside of the city of Luxor, no traffic noise, peaceful and beautiful scenery located right along the Nile River! Very accommodating staff, polite and prompt service. Food was very tasty, dish’s all clean and overall a great experience very affordable! '
