« Everything you could ask for »

« This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave! »

« We had a wonderful, restful 5 days. I especially enjoyed watching the tides. We kayaked and rode our bikes almost 100 miles over three days in three areas. Lots of lobster, a puzzle, books and campfires. Just what we like: an active but relaxing vacation. »

The location of this property is excellent - the views are great and a walk from the house to Grime's Cove couldn't be more beautiful. « This place was perfect. Cabin 13 is small (perfect for 2) but has all the necessities needed. The cabin was decorated beautifully. It was clean and comfortable. Jeff was very responsive and gave me all the information needed. No complaints. »

« Sasanoa is a beautiful cabin in the woods. The vintage decor is lovely. The living area is very spacious, comfortable and perfect for two couples. Screened-in porch is great for reading and/or games. The location is extremely peaceful and quiet! »

« My husband and I visited Boothbay Harbor for Labor Day weekend with our infant and we had a very nice stay in this cottage. Although quaint, the cabin is extremely welcoming, cute and ccomfortable. The kitchenette provided us with what we needed to store food and make bottles for the baby knowing we would eat out most of the trip. The twin beds were great for overflow lounging and the king bed was very comfortable and plush with plenty of pillows. The bathroom shower had great pressure and...

« We loved this super unique home! Rutherfords Island is so lovely and Jill was the perfect host. We had everything we needed for our summer vacation. It was quiet and there are gorgeous walks in every direction. We had an amazing stay and will definitely book this property again! »

« We had a wonderful stay in Boothbay! I love that we could stay on the water at the pond while also being able to see the ocean. We even saw a bald eagle for the first time across the pond! The property was clean, had everything we needed (including fishing poles) and was well stocked. I would stay here again! »

"Smelly room because of old carpet. Doors with cracks that we could see through. Back door difficult to open . Small old fridge . Clean and adequate beddings . Shower ok . Breakfast generous . Nice weather, so we spend our time outdoor . Kayaking, mini-golfing , we also made a fire at night that was really a nice opportunity . The accommodations need renovations ! The property has great potential !"
