« The cabin was perfect for our short stay with my partner, our 2 toddlers, and me. Our host was amazing at communication and even left some snacks for us. The kitchen was a bit tight for cooking, but in a 500 ft² cabin, that is to be expected. There is quite a few food places close by for being such a rural area. The property was beautiful to walk around and so quiet. The cabin smelled great, was comfy and so cute. Much more scenic and homey than staying in a hotel room! Thank you! »

« My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary stay in this historic stone cabin. The host was attentive, the setting was lovely and comfortable, and the cabin brought the area’s history to life. We would gladly return. The only thing I would draw attention to is that this is not a handicap accessible property. « The Captain’s Cabin was charming, beautifully decorated, and VERY comfy! Jan and Tammy certainly went above and beyond with communication and treats including Christmas cookies! Our stay was just an overnight so we did not get a chance to appreciate the outdoor activities that the cabin grounds allowed (lake, stream, canoeing)…. Maybe we need a return trip?We would highly recommend the Captain’s Cabin. Beautifully maintained, very clean, well appointed, and it is just like sleeping in a movie...
