"Had a lovely spa break. Our stay was kickstarted with a lovely welcome, made to feel like family and instantly given a glass of bubbles and shown to lunch. The photos don’t do the spa area justice, it is gorgeous! We spent a lovely afternoon using the saunas, pool and relaxation room. "This is a castle on a hill! Real one. No plywood or 2x4s. Lots of history. Enormous rooms. Enormous bathroom. Phenomenal breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking is limited by the entrance, but plenty below the castle. One downside is that the bathroom is not in the rooms. "This hotel went above and beyond. The staff waited after hours for my party to arrive and then called to ensure I was still coming. When I told them I wouldn't be there till 4am they surprised me and said they could make arrangements so I could still stay. The location is beautiful and I will be staying again soon."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are clean and nicely updated. We spent a lot of time on our balcony watching hikers go by and marveling at the mountains. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although its outside of the city, there are several small towns near by. The area is very charming and there's plenty of hiking and biking right outside of your door. "
