'We spent 3 excellent nights at the Afton Safari Lodge. We had a large room with a sitting area, small refrigerator, and large bathroom. The bed and room were very comfortable and nicely decorated. But what really made our stay was the owners, Tony and Marieka. From the time we arrived, they made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and good. We opted for the yogurt, fruit muesli, etc. Marieka also booked us a table for dinner at a nearby Italian...

'Beth is een geweldige gastvrouw. Haar staff is ontzettend vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker. We kregen handige en goede tips voor restaurants en winkels in de buurt, maar ook voor bijvoorbeeld whale watching cruises. De kamer was ruim, met apart zitgedeelte met mooi uitzicht. De tuin heeft ook een fijn uitzicht. De ligging is prachtig en met googlemaps goed te vinden. Al met al een dikke aanrader. '

'Whilst these rooms are effectively student accommodation and (in my case at least) the bathroom is shared by two rooms, they are excellently appointed and comfortable. They have good internet, parking, a great buffet breakfast, charming grounds, perfect for a day or two. Really helpful staff and all very clean and modern - they even have kitchen facilities. '

'Good for a quick stay not for a true vacation. This place needs to updated and sprayed for ants. They also should consider hiring a person to help with bags upon arrival the hill ruins it. It’s cozy but it’s a shared house with the hosts. Good location'
