« We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. « Room was adequate, the heated towel rail was on the other side of the bedroom wall so the bedroom was uncomfortably hot, even at night - but the wife preferred this. The bed was quite firm and a good size. It was difficult to view the TV screen from the settee on the back wall. Tea (Yorkshire) and coffees were plentiful - not so much biscuits. Full English, plus cereals, juice, toast and tea/coffee refills welcome. »

« Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Kettle and coffee machine with good supply of tea, coffee and fresh milk. Staff friendly and efficient. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Lovely location for a walking break - we appreciated use of the pub car park before check-in/after check-out. Would stay here again in future. »

« My wife and I had a pleasant 1-night stay at this property. The staff were friendly and helpful - helped with our special request of storing some personal item in their fridge. Please note that the check out details on Expedia are incorrect - correct check out time is 10:30am (not 11am). Staff was friendly - allowed for a late check out of 11:30am. « Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. »
