« Lovely peaceful cottage with a very friendly and excellent host. Two pubs in close proximity and lovely local facilities in charming village of Yarpole in next village. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well designed. Excellent shower ! Would love to revisit.. »

« We had a wonderful stay, although this was a work trip we was nice to get away from everything and enjoy the peaceful countryside. The grounds were amazing, shopping, if needed was very convenient. This would be a fantastic vacation location. Our host were ready if needed, but the accommodations didn't require any assistance at all. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay.V/RRaz »

Everything & more… from the welcome tray full of delicious homemade goodies to the milk, coffee, washing up stuff etc… not to mention the extra unusual touch of being able to order home cooked food delivered to your door . « Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size. »

« We stayed at The Weir House over Christmas and it was honestly magical. The setting is absolutely idyllic — right next to the river with beautiful views of the rapids, Yat Rock, and the little cottages twinkling with Christmas lights on the hill. The house itself is stunning. Spotlessly clean, incredibly spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped with every piece of kitchenware you could ever need — the owners have clearly thought of absolutely everything....
