'We were 4 families coming together to celebrate my father’s 70th. The barn was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for 11 of us to relax (8 adults and 3 young children) Downstairs was 2 bedrooms (one had the bunk room attatched) and upstairs was another 2 rooms and one of those rooms included a little mezzanine with single bed. 'We had a wonderful time. The property has everything you could need including thoughtful extras like milk, bread, tea and coffee on arrival. Property owner is lovely and easily contactable. There is a lovely place to sit outside with amazing views. Hay-on-Wye is literally an 8 minute drive away and lives up to its name of a bookish town. One of our favourite get always and I can’t recommend enough!'

'The house and cottage was perfect for our family reunion of 12 and 2 little ones. Bathroom and shower/tub in every room! Kitchen and Dining area and seating for 18 inside and out was perfect. Amazing kitchen with plenty of dishes and all possibly needed to cook large meals. Three sitting rooms with fireplace and wood provided Games, books, puzzles, game room, outside badminton and soccer. Best VRBO! Views amazing!'

'Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a romantic getaway, plenty of space and the décor with so much love put into the property. Hot tub was amazing loved it. We ordered from the menu homemade lasagne garlic bread and some chips for our first night and was so worth it tasted better than any pub meal. And we had a sausage and egg muffin for breakfast on our last morning with hash browns and orange juice delicious. We went to the local pub for Sunday lunch we booked before our visit beef...

'Het huis ligt op een heuvel en heeft een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Het is compleet uitgerust. De toegangsweg is soms wat smal, maar heeft genoeg ruimte her en der om te passeren. Wij vonden het prima te doen. Inderdaad wat trappen vervolgens om naar het huis te komen (dus niet geschikt voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn, maar verder goed te doen). Mooie omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden en natuur. Vriendelijke eigenaren.'

'The Applestore is lovely located and central for daytrips to Wales, Hereford and lovely towns as Coleford and Kington. We had great diners at the Old Court Hotel and the Fforest Inn, both very good and dog friendly. We would have loved to meet the owners of the Applestore and compliment them on the cottage. We had a lovely sunny week!'
