'Magpie Cottage was beautifully furnished. Sympathetic to the era that Napier is known for. The amenities were more than ample, with every need catered for. The situation of the cottage was perfect. A street away from the beach, and close to the town centre. Highly recommend.'

'This is a charming character cottage, clean , comfortable and well-equipped. The only downside-and it was a disappointment that we had not been warned-was the very noisy roadworks on the boundary of the property which last until July 2026. Heavy machinery was operating all day, starting at 07.30, spoiling the tranquility of the garden.'

'Beautiful house in a beautiful rural setting, so peaceful, we were sorry it was only one night. Outdoor shower is a must. Sally and Simon were superb hosts, super helpful and friendly. Sally's homemade treat was very much appreciated and we had a lovely walk around the farm, meeting the lovely dogs. Would highly recommend staying at this piece of paradise.'
