The hosts were available to answer any questions we had. The upstairs area was a great place for our 3 children to spend some time relaxing. »

« This listing says cottage but it's an apartment. Be ready to go up stairs to get into it. The kitchen is small but fine. Everything works, but it's not especially well equipped for cooking. The coffee maker does not work. Our checkin was delayed for about 40 minutes when we arrived and we had no where to stay while waiting for our apartment. Wi Fi was very weak in the apartment and TV is like a hotel where there are certain channels available but no way to sign in to your own streaming accounts....

« I had originally rented the place for Fourth of July. Very last minute as our rental home was booked.. even more last minute ours canceled and Josie was gracious enough to allow our friends to stay there in lieu of us. I thought that was so kind of her to allow us to do that. I was told they thought it was very nice. Best of luck to you in the future. »

« The house was wonderful. We dont travel often because I am super nervous about accommodations being clean. This house was exceptionally clean. I was very pleased. The house had everything we needed in the kitchen for our week long stay. We loved that there was beach chairs and an umbrella for our use. Beds were comfortable. We saw some horses in the yard but over all we only saw about 10 the entire week. We were hoping the baby turtles were going to make their appearance while we were there but...

« This was just the right size for me. It was nicely decorated, comfy bed, plenty of charge ports. There was a handy handle in the shower to hold while stepping in/out of tub. I especially loved the top balcony, where you can sit and listen to the ocean, while star gazing. A perfect place to stay right in the ocean. »

« We had a wonderful time at this home. It was clean, beautifully decorated, quiet, and close to the beach. We enjoyed watching sunrises on the beach, taking in sunsets by the sound, and checking out local sights like the Pea Island National Wildlife Reserve and Bodie Lighthouse. The beach was never crowded and the ocean temperature was so comfortable in late July. The hot tub was a lovely way to end the day. I highly recommend this property! »
