'Perfect cozy cottage for a couple or small family. Great location and ease of access to the Golf Shores community and attractions and the beach! The hosts have done very well in making things simple and convenient. I have found my go-to-spot for my future trips!'

'We had such a great time at 4013 The Rookery III! Melinda went above and beyond to stay in contact and make sure everything we needed was handled! The house was stocked with beach towels and beach essentials (tents, chairs, toys, puddle jumper) which was super helpful! We loved that it was pet friendly so our golden retriever could join us on vacation! Thanks for a great stay!'

'Cottage was very nice. Kitchen was well appointed. Lots of beach toys and chairs were available. Probably would need to drive over to the public parking by the beach if you are carrying much for your set up on the beach. Get your shrimp at Billys and shop at Walmart for your groceries. Stay off the strip between Foley and Gulf Shores due to heavy traffic. Enjoyed our stay very much!'

'The property was very nice, clean and had everything we needed! The short walk to the beach was great, and the private pool perfect for when we didn't go to the beach. It's located near many restaurants and shops. It was easy to get ahold of the rental company when we had questions, and they responded quickly. '

'The home was beautiful and extremely comfortable. It was very clean. The owner responded to questions very quickly and was helpful and friendly. So many extras! Beach towels, water toys, plenty of bath towels, very ample cooking supplies. A delicious box of cupcakes waiting in the fridge for us. Plenty of comfortable seating at the end of the day. We would love to stay there again. Thankful for the hospitality!'

'We had the best time at Gulf Shores. The owner was an excellent communicator, made everything smooth and easy. The beach cottage was very clean and so convenient - short walk to the beach (white sandy beach and not crowded, even on Labor Day weekend!), the pool was just a few steps away and our kids loved fishing off the dock, also just a few steps away. They caught pin fish and croaker. Highly recommend this beach cottage!!'

'Everything was good but we were told multiple times that there would be 150 fee if we showed up early and then we get there on time and we had to sit outside. The cleaners were still cleaning. Customer service was helpful with the situation and answered questions promptly. Kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils. It even had two coffee makers, one for regular coffee and K cups.'

'Woodside Restaurant at Gulf State Park is the best kept secret of Gulf Shores. Emma at breakfast and Issac at dinner, made our meals welcoming and special.'

"Het hotel is netjes en de kamers zijn schoon met comfortabele bedden. Het was druk toen we er waren, dus ook druk bij het ontbijt maar dit was wel goed geregeld. De parkeerplekken waren allemaal in gebruik en als het hotel vol is dan vraag ik me af of er wel voldoende parkeerplekken aanwezig zijn. Het hotel is prima maar ze mogen wel nadenken waar ze de leerlingen van scholen plaatsen. Wij hebben hierdoor overlast ervaren. Achter elkaar geren op de gang, muziek, geschreeuw en de hele tijd als ze aanwezig waren smijten met de deuren. Toen we er wat van gezegd hadden werd het nog erger en vonden de 2 jongens van de overliggende kamer het nodig om keihard tegen onze deur te slaan of te schoppen. Wellicht had het hotel maatregelen kunnen nemen want we zullen vast niet de enige op de gang geweest zijn die hier last van hadden en dat is toch wel jammer omdat het hotel op zich keurig netjes is, vlakbij het strand en een prima zwembad heeft."
