Herbergen in Great Sacandaga Lake

'Fantastic little hideaway'

'Great accommodations for any getaway. There is enough to do right at the Pulpit House, you don't even need to plan other entertainment. Our family has stayed in many VRBO rentals and this is by far our favorite, just because of the convenience and atmosphere. There is dining and a small convenience store in very short walking distance, as well as a park for children. We highly recommend a stay here, and plan to return.'

'We booked last minute as we decided to stay a night in Saratoga on our way to upstate NY. Could not have had a better experience! From my initial interaction with the owner, who was extremely responsive, to the exceptionally kind and informed team we met the next morning - our experience was only diminished by our need to get back on the road. We wanted to stay and hike and relax among the pines! Our glamping tent was clean, inviting, with two queen beds, water dispenser (hot+cold), fridge,...

'Our stay was excellent!'

'A cozy little cabin in the Adirondacks! It was a great base for our explorations, and a lovely place to rest when we weren't adventuring! The wooden ADK chairs on the sunny porch and relaxing hammock were favorite spots! Touches like having games, walking sticks, and even a guitar available made it feel like home. Our host was responsive with communication, and all the information and suggestions throughout were very thoughtful. Will keep this on our list of favorites!'

'Another absolutely wonderful trip to Great Sacandaga Lake. Been to a few spots there now. This one is deferentially one of the best. Great views of and easy access to the lake. Nice dock. Boat launch 1/2 mile away. House is laid out nice. Easy to unload vehicles just a few steps away from the back door, no climbing up or down hills to unload. Brent is a awesome host, responds quickly. Be sure to check back here soon when he add pictures of the new lower level renovations and opens it...

'Overall, we enjoyed our stay. But the outdoors needs work. Positive: -Easy Check-in, they even let us arrive an hour early. -Inside was clean, inviting and stocked with towels.-Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed except sharp knives, but I picked up a sharpener and left it for the next guests. -The indoor space was as described. -The outside front porch was cleanNegative: -The "Steps" to the dock are a huge accident waiting to happen. The rocks are loose and there are no longer steps...

'My husband and I had such a relaxing (kid free) night! The glamping tent was perfect and had everything we needed. It was so nice waking up to the sounds of nature and taking a beautiful stroll on the property. Everyone should experience this!'

'Beautiful. Very quiet and private. Pictures didn't do it justice. A great weekend getaway for us and the pups!'
