'Uitstekend gelegen hotel. Direct aan het strand, dat is top. Het hotel zelf kan wel wat liefde gebruiken. Het is verouderd. Kamers zijn ruim, en hebben prima voorzieningen. Wel gehorig, we hadden last van luidruchtige buren. Handig dat het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prima hotel als budgetvriendelijke optie. '

'The pool and pool area stayed dirty the entire time we were there. Most days there were no clean pool towels available and we requested extra washcloths and was told they didn’t have any clean ones. On the day before we came home they had no clean towels or washcloths. We used our own beach towel to dry off with.'

'Not direct access to the each!!! It's a 2 minute drive and across from the beach. It is a very old hotel that they try their best to keep up and keep clean. Staff very friendly.'

'Management needs an overhaul. The place is woefully understaffed and the staff is clearly poorly trained. There are very few amenities for a place that charges what Jekyl charges. Dining options are virtually non-existent and activities are very limited. Yes, history was created there but other than that, it is not worth the expense.'

'The lobby and our room smell like mildew and musty. Hotel is outdated and old looks newer from the outside, but the inside is very old had a terrible night trying to sleep only slept like three hours due to the moisture and musty smell in the room. Very disappointed at Marriott. This doesn’t meet their standards.'
