'The hosts were great. The coffee was waiting for me at 6 am. The breakfast was delicious! I called it biscuits and gravy but it was more like french tost lol we had some great laughs. I will plan another trip here in the future. Downtown Galena is really neat. We checked out some hiking trails and had a blast. '

'As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

'The unit itself was very clean. We loved that we had a view. The deck was comfortable for meals and just relaxing. The Eagle Ridge amenities were a huge plus, we are not golfers, but did take advantage of the owners club for swimming and working out. Thanks, to the unit owner and managers of this unit. We had forgotten how beautiful the Galena area is, and we’ll definitely be back.'

'My only complaint would be how thin the toilet paper was. It seemed to be a theme everywhere in Galena though. Really enjoyed the time spent there. Lovely town'
