« Bel hôtel avec un très bon petit déjeuner. Quelques remarques pour la chambre: wc bouchés, tâches sur un drap et dose de shampoing presque vide. Mais les wc ont été rapidement débouchés par le technicien et nous avons eu un nouveau flacon de shampoing. »

« The one thing I will caution future guests about is breakfast. It’s one menu selection (there is no menu to choose from) for everyone every morning. So if you’re a picky eater or have lots of food sensitivities, this could be a real hassle. It is served in your room only, and delivery runs a bit on island time. So if you have timed plans in the morning, make sure to give yourself an extra half hour buffer to account for possible breakfast delays. Other than that, I had an absolutely fabulous...

As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. « Only complaint is that the pool was shut down. They were repairing a major leak. Staff was wonderful, especially the woman that checked me in. I wish I got her name. Diner next door is fantastic. »
