'The host was great and the location was good, with a moderate walk on the side of the road to the chairlifts. Unfortunately the room was the equivalent of a dated motel room with the faint but distinct smell of a smoker’s old car. It was far overpriced for the quality. '

'I spent the weekend here solo and loved how big the space is a nicely decorated. The home is close to the supermarket and only an hour to Tahoe Peak. There are also many trails within 10-15mins. It was very quiet and I especially love it feels like a home. This place gives you enough firewood for your stay, has nice bathrooms and a hot tub. It also has a laundry which is nice so you get home with a clean bathroom. The host is very responsive as well. Will definitely come back!'

'I think it’s a great quaint motel right before you hit the busy zones of Tahoe and right outside Tahoe Valley campground. The property is family owned and very well maintained. The room is clean and nice and has all the basics you need. I really loved the lighted bathroom mirrors. Parking was plenty plus easy to park a truck.
